Coats publishes 2023 Sustainability Report
Coats has published its 2023 Sustainability Report, showcasing the first year of delivery against recently set 2023 to 2026 targets with continued strong progress against its overarching Sustainability Strategy launched in 2019.
Having completed a full review of our sustainability strategy and targets in 2022, 2023 has been focussed on delivering progress against those new 2026 targets.
Our aim at Coats is to make our own business activities as sustainable as possible and also to provide products and services that provide sustainable options to our customers and all subsequent users.
"Sustainability is the driving force behind everything we do at Coats. Guided by our 5-pillar strategy—Energy, Materials, Water, Waste, and People—we are committed to reducing our environmental footprint and fostering a positive impact on communities. As part of our commitment, we are working towards Science-Based emissions reduction targets for 2030, with the ultimate goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. Together, we are shaping a sustainable future for generations to come."
At Coats, we hold sustainability at the heart of our business operations and are committed to pioneering a sustainable future. Read our articles to find out more.
Throughout this year, addressing the climate crisis remains central to our mission. Having secured approval for our near-term Science Based Targets (SBTs) in 2022, a significant milestone, we’ve taken the next step.
As we commemorate Environment Day, we take great pride in highlighting our relentless efforts at Coats to protect the environment and promote sustainability.
Coats sustainability stories are rich with information and case studies, designed to help inform our customers about our sustainable global initiatives.
