By adding Hemseal into the hemming process you can produce a secure hem. Hemseal is simply laid inside the overlock edging during this process. No additional machinery is required and the time taken to add Hemseal is included in the standard minute value for this operation. The heatpress finishing process activates the adhesive properties of the Coats Hemseal, creating a durable, clean, high-quality finish. Hemseal is easy and practical to use.
Should the blindstitch become unravelled during garment wear, the hem remains fixed due to the adhesive properties of Hemseal. Coats Hemseal can be used successfully on most fabric types
