Coats Gral Binder LS is a high tenacity multi-filament polyester yarn with low shrink value, around 2.5%, against high temperature.
It is specially engineered to ensure that the binder does not indent buffer tubes which can cause a defect in the cable and disrupt the stranding operation.
Gral Binder LS is a cost-efficient alternative to aramid and is designed to withstand high stranding speeds. It is available in one end and 2 end packages as well as specialised weights, lengths and formats (tubes, cones, spools) on request.
