At Coats Group plc (referred to as we, us, our or Coats), we take our responsibility to protect your personal information seriously. We ensure its security and comply with relevant data protection and privacy laws. This Cookie Policy applies to this website (Website) and other online services that link to it.
As the data controller, Coats Group plc may collect personal information via cookies on our Websites. For more details on how we use personal information and your rights, please refer to our Privacy Notice.
This Cookie Policy explains how Coats uses cookies to store or collect information on your device when you visit our website, either automatically or based on your choice. It also outlines the purposes for which we use these cookies.
What are Cookies?
A cookie is a small data file placed on your device to help a website recognise you as a unique user. This can happen either for a single session using a “session cookie” (which lasts until you close the browser) or for multiple visits using a “persistent cookie” (which stays until its set expiry date unless you delete it). Some cookies may collect personal information.
Websites use different types of cookies for various functions. Cookies can be either “first-party” (set by us) or “third-party” (set by another website when you use ours).
How Do We Use Cookies?
This Website uses cookies to personalise content and ads, and to analyse traffic. We also share information about your use of our Website with our analytics partners, who may combine it with other data you’ve provided to them or that they’ve collected from your use of their services.
Consenting to the Use of Cookies and Personal Information
When you first visit our Website, we automatically set essential cookies on your device, which are necessary for the website to function properly. For all other types of cookies, you will be asked to provide consent through our built-in consent feature.
If you do not consent, these additional cookies will not be set on your device. While the website will still function, some enhanced and personalised features may not be available without your consent.
Cookies used on our Website
The different categories of cookies are described in more detail in the table below.

Specifically, for Necessary cookies for the delivery of a service, you are unable to reject these cookies. However, for all other cookies, you are able to reject these cookies, but this may impact your personalisation settings.
You can also change your cookie preferences at any time by deleting cookies using your browser. You can reject all cookies (except Necessary cookies) if you prefer not to receive them, and you can have your computer warn you whenever cookies are being used. You can delete the cookies that are already on your computer, and you can set your browser to prevent them from being placed.
