Coats Signal™ C522 80S is a segmented, combined-performance heat transfer tape in fluorescent yellow, specially designed for heat and flame protective clothing, particularly firefighter uniforms, ensuring visibility in low-light and nighttime conditions.
Coats Signal C522 80S combines a fluorescent yellow section with high-performance glass beads laminated onto a durable flame-retardant polymer layer. It features a segmented design with 5mm segments and 1mm gaps, providing superior flexibility and breathability. The heat transfer tape’s reflective white appearance is activated when illuminated.
Coats Signal C522 80S is suitable for use on flame-retardant woven and knit fabrics and meets necessary certifications such as EN 469, EN ISO 11611, EN ISO 11612, EN ISO 14116, and EN ISO 15384. It can be applied using heat presses or other appropriate methods, with testing recommended for optimal results before full-scale production.
