Coats Signal™ C522 800 is a high-performance fluorescent yellow heat transfer tape for heat and flame protective clothing.
Its combination of fluorescent and retro-reflective properties ensures optimal visibility in various lighting conditions.
Coats Signal C522 800 is constructed with high-performance glass beads laminated on a flame-retardant polymer layer. The heat transfer tape is backed with a heat-reactive adhesive and protected by a liner to safeguard both reflective and adhesive sides.
During the day, the tape appears fluorescent yellow, and when illuminated, it reflects a bright white. It is designed for application on flame-retardant woven and knit fabrics, ensuring compliance with EN 469, EN ISO 11611, EN ISO 11612, EN ISO 14116, and EN ISO 15384.
Heat and pressure application should be done using uniform settings to ensure a secure bond, with testing recommended before large-scale production.
