Saddles and Bridles

For hand sewn horse saddles, linen is still used as it has a good handle and feel as well as produces a very tight seam.

In the case of machine sewn saddles, threads such as a cotton wrapped polyester corespun thread, with a glacé finish, or bonded nylon are now being recommended.

For equestrian applications such as bridles, we provide sewing threads that apply superior abrasion resistance in the sewn product. Sewing threads for horses yield a tough uniform bond with an exceptionally soft construction.
