Vietnam donation in pandemic.

Coats Vietnam stays strong with the local community

Since beginning our operations over 30 years ago in Vietnam, we have always been an active citizen in our local community. Let’s take a look at some of our recent CSR activities.

Donating safety kits to help Danang control Covid-19

When Danang announced new cases of Covid-19 in the city, we worked together with other members in the community to help local citizens and frontier doctors keep safe through the provision of hygiene products.

Within a few days of the Danang lockdown, Coats Vietnam donated 300 safety kits to Danang and Hoi An province. The local team worked hard to prepare and transport the kits to the right locations and at the same time keep locals safe. We’re so proud that we can be a part of the community, helping Danang get over the new wave of Covid-19 in July.

Helping people in Central Vietnam overcome flooding.

Central Vietnam recently felt the force of over 13 tropical storms, which caused heavily flooding and landslides in some of the worst scenes in 100 years. Even though we couldn’t visit the area, our local team successfully raised 312,500,000VND for the community in impacted areas.

We have donated this money to Quang Tri and Thua Thien Hue province, with the hope that the community bounces back quickly.

A big thank you has to be reserved for the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province and Thua Thien Hue province, who received this money and distributed it accordingly to the people.

Vietnam Donation awards

In total, Coats Vietnam have donated 81.6 millions VND to Central VN via Golden Club - Youth Business Association (YBA) program for people at Tra My & Phuoc Son in Quang Nam province.
