Coats S BT adds a modern and fresh look to your product

Coats S BT (Broken Twill) adds a modern and attractive look to your products.

Compared to a Left Hand Twill or a Right Hand Twill, Broken Twill is when the diagonal weave of the twill is intentionally reversed at every two warp ends to form an attractive random zig-zag design.

Coats weaves this pattern into the tape with natural and black polyester yarns. Broken twill tape and the spiral can be dyed in any shade. This gives you options to coordinate with the main product fabric, creating a product that seamlessly integrates with your range and yet stands out as a key piece in your product line.

Combine these qualities with the reliability that you expect from Coats zips and you have a product that will look as good as it will perform.

Disclaimer

Polymer spiral zips are usually made from polyester or polyamide (nylon). When using continuous chain on rolls in regular garment production (generally men's trousers) polyamide spiral would be a better option, as it has the property of high elasticity, which is needed to make the two top ends of a zip even. Zips with polyester spiral are better suited to manufactures using ready-made or cut zips.

Prior to bulk production, Coats recommends that tests and trials are carried out on all zip uses/applications in order to verify that the product meets end customer requirements and the demands of internal processing conditions. Coats supports customers with advice on individual applications on request; if you have any questions or concerns, please contact us.
