FlamePro
An innovative family of flame-resistant, electric arc and cut-resistant yarns
FlamePro is a blended yarn which can include up to five different fibre types. From flame resistance to high strength to anti-static properties, the final blend is dependent on fabric functionality and end use application. Our scientific approach to blend engineering avoids extensive trials and error sampling.
Using our unique, proprietary technology - Blend Predictor - we can provide an assessment what type of blend is required based on the need as well as estimate performance for burn protection %, ATPV performance level and other critical data.
Once blended, FlamePro can be dyed or come in dope dyed colours. It is also available in a large range of counts in both ring and vortex spun technologies. In addition, there are customised coating systems available including soil release and anti-microbial.
Norms include Euro EN ISO 11612, EN ISO 14116, EN ISO 11611, EN 469 and NFPA 1971, 1975, 1977, 2112, 70e.
