ThreadSol was acquired by Coats Digital in 2018. Coats Digital is the software arm of Coats Group and is a global provider of software solutions for the fashion industry, digitally transforming the fashion supply chain from 'Plan to Pack'.
ThreadSol’s technology focuses on fabric usage optimisation in apparel manufacturing and helps customers to reduce fabric waste and cost, and establish accurate product costings. It uses proprietary algorithms to optimise the purchasing and consumption of fabric by real-time data analytics through IoT devices. This reduces costs and waste through fabric cut-plan processes and fabric roll utilisation which helps to solve one of the most pressing and complex problems in the apparel supply chain - fabric cost.
ThreadSol’s products IntelloCut and IntelloBuy were combined and relaunched as FastReactFabric in Sept 2022, playing a pivotal role in Coat's Digital's eco-system of solutions, alongside VisionPLM, GSDCost and FastReactPlan, that are driving industry change through digital transformation and empowering brands, fashion manufacturers and sourcing companies with unparalleled control, efficiency, insight and transparency, setting new standards of excellence across the fashion supply chain.
Headquartered in Singapore, ThreadSol was founded in Delhi in 2013 with development centres across India.
