Dabond AW is a bonded, twisted filament polyester thread with an anti-wicking finish providing water repellent seams. Combining superior sewing performance with excellent UV and abrasion protection, it is specifically designed to provide resistance against harsh weather conditions and can withstand UV degradation in all outdoor applications.
It is the only environmentally friendly bonded polyester thread available on the market and is excellent at resisting mildew, rot and the effects of bleaching. Its unique bonding safeguards against ply untwisting in zig-zag sewing and the dual level lubricated finish offers needle heat protection as well as smooth sewing, even through several layers of heavy fabric.
