Coats Sylko Pearl is made from a combination of polyester, nylon and a 100% polyester Pearl Tape. The resistance to any particular chemical will depend on the individual circumstances. Coats Sylko Pearl can be used for embroidery and decorative stitching on anything from ladies wear, children’s wear, sportswear through to coats, textile shoes and home textiles. A silver tape gives the brilliant sheen unique to precious metals.
For special applications and embroideries near to the skin, it is necessary to use an additionally backing material.
Technical advice should be sought from your nearest Coats unit if the application involves chemical treatment.
